Profile

An experienced Engineering Leader with a background across both B2B and B2C environments, focused on building the systems, culture, and leadership conditions that allow engineering teams to do their best work. I believe strongly in Radical Candor, pragmatic decision-making, and conscientious rule-breaking where it helps individuals, teams, and the business move past unnecessary friction.

My leadership style has developed through formal management roles, mentoring, and volunteer work helping people from non-traditional backgrounds move into technology. As my career has progressed, I have found the most fulfilment in shaping the environment around engineering teams: building trust, developing leaders, creating clarity, improving delivery habits, and preserving healthy team cultures through periods of change or complexity.

I am strongest in environments where engineering has to balance delivery, reliability, commercial pressure, stakeholder expectations, and long-term technical health. The problems I am most interested in solving next are broader engineering leadership problems: improving multi-team delivery, strengthening operational maturity, growing leaders, and helping engineering organisations become more predictable, resilient, and effective without losing the trust and humanity that make teams worth leading.
